The Beginning

The story of Deuce Roams began with a personal journey—one driven by the realization that life is too short. After battling heart disease and working hard to regain my health, I came to a turning point. The traditional path of waiting until retirement to explore the world didn’t feel right. What if my health didn’t hold out? What if the dreams of adventure stayed just that—dreams? With that clarity, I boldly decided to leave behind my career as a Senior Manager at Rivian and embrace a full-time nomadic life. My calling wasn’t just to chase sunsets or seek epic destinations but to seize the moment and live life to its fullest.

The Road to a Nonprofit

As Deuce Roams grew, so did its vision. It became clear that the journey wasn’t just about personal exploration but also about creating meaningful change. This realization inspired the transformation of Deuce Roams into a nonprofit organization—Deuce Roams, Inc.—focused on spreading positivity and supporting outdoor lovers in need.

This shift has brought new opportunities to expand the mission, from filing articles of incorporation. With the formation of the Good Vibe Tribe—a collective of like-minded adventurers and dreamers—the organization has found its heartbeat. Together, we have started an adventurous movement dedicated to kindness, sustainability, and inclusivity.
